Top Reader AND Math Challenge Champion?!

Bryan is a great student! Today at the end of the year awards assembly he was given a medal and certificate for reading the 2nd most words in the whole 3rd grade at his school (1,681,172 to be exact!). The way they figure it out is the kids read a book, take an AR test on it, and then the computer knows how many words are in each book.
In April Bryan also was chosen to be a part of the school's 3rd/4th grade team that competed in the district math challenge. His team won first place and moved on to a competition that included the top teams of ten area school districts. That time his team won second place. Way to go, Bryan!
